Antwerp Abdominal Ultrasound Course

We are delighted to announce the first edition of the Antwerp Abdominal Ultrasound Course, taking place at the Antwerp University Hospital in Belgium. Join us from the 20th to the 22nd of November of this year for an exceptional learning experience alongside renowned national and international experts in the field.

This comprehensive course is designed to provide a solid foundation in abdominal ultrasound. From the fundamentals to advanced techniques, we will explore the normal abdominal anatomy and we will give an overview of various pathologies affecting the abdomen with a special focus on liver and intestinal diseases. The program has been carefully crafted to deliver essential knowledge and hands-on training with live scan sessions in small groups.

In addition to the enriching educational opportunities, the intimate setting of the course offers a unique chance to connect with fellow participants. The accessibility and collaborative atmosphere ensure meaningful interactions throughout the event.

  Registrations will open in September via our website www.uza.be/activiteit/ultrasoundcourse 
  Registration fee will be communicated in September 
• Target audience
  This course is open to all physicians in training with an interest in abdominal and/or intestinal ultrasound, as well as established physicians willing to expand their diagnostic armamentarium for their daily clinical practice.
• Continuous medical education
  We will apply for Medical Education Points for physicians with a Belgian registration number. Attendance certificates will be given to all participants
• Accommodation and how to get there
  We will reserve several rooms at different quality hotels close to the hospital or to the city center. A booking link will be available on our website in September.
